Formula 2 driver, Callum Ilott, was that enraged during Saturday’s Feature Race he drove like he had a Formula 1 car underneath him.

Ilott’s race weekend had gotten off to a flying start as his Championship campaign looked to be back on track.

The Uni-Virtuosi driver bagged pole position during Friday’s Qualifying session to start at the front of the grid in Saturday’s Feature Race.

Leading the race from the start Ilott pitted – Only to emerge in a lowly 21st place after he stalled in the box.

The Uni-Virtuosi driver charged up the field with such determined force even Ferrari Academy comrade, Marcus Armstrong asked his team, “How is Ilott so fast?”

The mishap cost Ilott 20 positions as he emerged back onto the track in P21.

The fully fuelled Brit charged through the field as though he was fleeing a forest fire.

He remained positive afterwards and bantered with followers.

Uni-Virtuosi summed up their feelings in emojis.

The optimistic Brit put the day behind him and looked ahead to Sunday’s Sprint Race.
